Southern Star Roofing was founded in 2010 by Brandon Johnson with a simple, stubborn idea: that the Carolinas deserved a roofing company homeowners could actually trust. No high-pressure sales pitch on the front porch. No subcontractor handoff after the deposit cleared. No bargain-brand shingles dressed up with a brand-name brochure. Just a family-run team, premium materials, and the kind of work you'd want done on your mother's house.

Fifteen years and over 5,000 roofs later, Brandon is still the person homeowners deal with. He's still on roofs. He's still answering the phone. The crew still wears the same Southern Star blue, and they still treat the magnetic-nail sweep at the end of a job as part of the job — not an upcharge.
